Oscar Wilde takes on Jersey Shore, hilarity ensues →
“God bless the people over at Playbill who corralled Santino Fontana and David Furr, who star as Algernon and Jack respectively in Broadway’s The Importance Of Being Earnest, into reading transcripts of Jersey Shore completely in character. The resulting non-sequitors are dark, funny, and not too outside of the realm of what Oscar Wilde might write were he alive today. He would surely...

Another thing I wish I had done - inPRNT Gallery... →
I talked to my high school art teacher last night and he’s just as inspiring now as he was when I was 15. I’m ready to get independently creative again. He said you don’t have to do it all at once. You’re busy. Just nibble. Anyways, that’s what this guy did - a simple idea done for fun, and done right.

Two thumbs and four less teeth!
This morning I’m drinking some rooibos tea. Science* suggests that rooibos tea is effective in subduing inflammation, so I’m hoping that giving it some good (gentle) mouth swishes and drinking a couple (delicious) cup-fulls will help me get over this faster. I’ve got some good stuff to do this weekend :) My rooibos of choice? Ginger Lime Rooibos: *Studies of anti-inflammitory...

Tiny tea!
My cute little tea mug at work makes my day everyday. By the way, when I started working here, I thought that tiny teapot in the background was decorative, being too small to actually be functional. Wrong. That thing brews a mean batch of pu-erh tea, and I regularly split a pot between three people. The more I learn…
